Encryption

DATA COLLECTION WHEN USING Nutrilog APP

When you register in Nutrilog App, Service collects personal data from you such as: your email address, password, height, weight, date of birth and gender.

When you continue using the Nutrilog App you regularly upload personal data onto your account such as, depending on your use of the App; your calorie intake, weight loss goal/weight gain goal, activity/diet routines, your body measurements and BMI.

In an ongoing effort to improve App, additional personal data may be collected from you. In such cases, we will notify you when the personal data collection takes place.

DATA PROVIDED BY THE USER

Nutrilog App further records data provided by the user that can be entered when using the App. This refers to a user profile that consists of the following physical data:
  • gender
  • date of birth
  • height
  • desired result (lose weight, etc.)
  • weight
  • activity level

The physical data are recorded and are used exclusively to calculate your personal calorie intake. In order to be able to use the features of the App, physical data need to be provided. It is particularly necessary to provide the weight, gender, date of birth and height so that Service can calculate the user's personal calorie intake target. These data are not visible to third parties.

Furthermore, the following data are collected and stored when the user account is set up:
  • First name or nickname (optional)
  • Email address

As you continue to use the Service, you will regularly provide further personal data. It follows from the nature of the Services. For example, Service will process your weight data and calorie intake to enable the monitoring and presentation of your personal goals (whether it be weight loss or weight gain). This processing is a prerequisite being able to offer the Services to you.

DATA AUTOMATICALLY RECORDED BY SERVICE

The following data is recorded once when the user registers in Service:

  • Country and language (using the locale: The locale is a set of parameters that contains the user's regional settings, including in particular the language of the user interface, the country and settings regarding the character classification, keyboard layout, number, currency, date and time formats.

DATA EXCHANGE WITH THIRD PARTIES

Service further records and stores data that are made available by third party providers and transmits the corresponding data to such third party providers. This refers to the following providers and data:

CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP

If a contractual relationship is to be established, designed or amended between the user and Service, Service stores the user's personal data to the extent that this is needed for the performance of the contract. By means of In-app purchasing, the user has the option to subscribe to the Nutrilog PRO. If you decide to subscribe to the Nutrilog PRO, the order button will lead you directly to either the Apple AppStore.

In this context, Service will transmit the starting date and the end date and, if applicable, the termination date of the subscription and the reason for the termination (for instance, withdrawal). The data for processing the payment are collected directly by the app stores.

We use various tools or plugins to conduct web analysis, remarketing, and retargeting in order to optimise our online offering and to be able to compile more relevant offers for you.

The information processed via Google Firebase may also be used together with other Google services, such as Google Analytics and the Google marketing services. The tool uses identifiers like the Android Advertising ID or the Advertising Identifier for iOS and cookie-like technologies to identify the users' mobile devices.

We utilize the AppsFlyer SDK to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. Our app does not share or associate personal information such as email, gender, birthday, or weight with AppsFlyer. However, it may be necessary to share certain technical information (such as browser type, device type and model, CPU, system language, etc.), technical identifiers (such as IP address, User agent, IDFA, etc.), and engagement information (such as clicks on customer ads, ad impressions viewed, audiences or segments to which an ad campaign is attributed, etc).

App further uses the Crashlytics analysis program offered by Google Inc. Crashlytics provides us with information on unforeseen system crashes and other malfunctions, thus serving our legitimate interest to constantly improve the App and eliminate faults. When a fault occurs, the analysis program records and transmits information on the device in use, the operating system, the version and functionality of the App, time of the crash and the anonymized IP address of the requesting device.
